• How much does it cost to transport an automobile?

The cost of transporting an automobile depends on several factors. The distance involved (from where to where?). What type of car you want transported (SUV's are bigger and heavier, so they cost more to transport). How soon do you want it delivered, does it need to be delivered tomorrow? • How can I be sure that my auto shipping company is giving me the best price?
  
  Auto Shipping companies compete for your business just like any business would. When comparing price, be sure that you're comparing the same service, (Door-to-door vs. Transport to a terminal for example). When is you vehicle going to be delivered? Are there any special discounts?

• What types of auto shipping companies have Web Sites ?

Auto Shipping and Drive-away companies from across the U.S. use the internet to promote and market their services.  Some of the companies are direct carriers of vehicles and own their own trucks, while some auto shipping companies are brokers who contract with the carriers to ship your vehicle. Additionally, some auto shipping companies may operate as both brokers and direct carriers. All companies should be competitive and many of them can handle your auto shipping needs anywhere in the world.

• How far in advance should I schedule my delivery?

The further in advance you place your order, the more likely that your vehicle will be delivered in the time frame that you request. However, if an immediate pick up is necessary, we can typically arrange for your vehicle to be picked up within two to three days. If the requested pick up location is in a major city, same day pick is available in most cases at no extra cost. To insure that your car is moved within a relatively timely fashion, we request that you schedule your move as soon as possible.

 

• How do I get my auto ready for transport?

Your car should be in good operating condition. It should start, run, drive and stop like normal. While it can be done, in-operable autos are difficult to transport and cost more.

• Where will my vehicle be picked up and delivered?

Door to Door Service
Your vehicle will be picked up as close to your home as possible. In some cases we ask that you meet our truck at a mutually agreed location such as a supermarket or some other large parking lot. This is due to the typically large size of the trucks and the inability to maneuver through many streets, and under low bridges, wires, and branches. The same will apply to the drop off point.

• Do I have to be present when we pick-up or deliver your vehicle?
  Yes, we require you, or a designated person, be present upon pick up of your vehicle. A contract “bill of lading” will be signed with you at the origination point. If you are not able to be there, please call our office prior to the pick up date, to confirm an alternate “in care of” person. However, if there any changes to the pick up, or delivery address after you have placed your order, there may be an additional charge.

•  When will I know the driver is coming to pick-up or deliver my vehicle?
  To arrange a convenient pick-up, or delivery time, you will receive a telephone call 12 to 24 hrs. in advance of the scheduled pick up time. This will provide you with the general time you can expect the driver to arrive. If the  driver's schedule changes, they will call you to provide an updated time for pick-up, or delivery.
